‘A Fish Called Wanda’ is a 1988 zany British comedy with an all-star cast to boot. Kevin Kline won an Oscar for his performance in the movie as a total ladies’ man and John Cleese is a member of a sexy gang led by Jamie Lee Curtis, who plays a deceitful crook. So who is the fish? Ever seen someone play the spoons? It involves putting two metal spoons back-to-back and moving them in a rapid succession between palm and thigh, while sitting.’ Sound stupid? It is. So he hasn’t called. What went wrong? Everything had been going so well, and then all of a sudden, it’s like he dropped off the face of the earth. Guess what:’ He’s just not that into you. Heard that before? Oh. Well, the guy who came up with it, Greg Behrendt, will be at The Wilbur Theatre to talk about relationships. Ever watch an old movie and think about how great things used to be? Like in the film ‘Casablanca.’ Things from the past are just lousy with authenticity. Bikes are better than bombs for lots of reasons. You can ride them to the movie theatre and grocery store, and the use of one doesn’t usually result in mass destruction.
