Snell Library will be closed for part of the weekend due to “necessary building-wide water and power shutdowns related to the construction of [the] new bathrooms,” according to an announcement from the Northeastern University Library.

The library will be closed from Friday, Nov. 1 at 6 p.m. to Sunday, Nov. 3 at 10 a.m. Snell is usually the only academic building on campus that is operational 24 hours a day.

The Student Government Association announced their plan for installing new bathrooms in Snell in early October.

According to Renata Nyul, a university spokesperson, Stetson West Eatery will be open as a study space from 7 p.m. to midnight Friday, 6 a.m. to midnight Saturday and 6 a.m. to 10 a.m. Sunday. It will not serve meals during these hours.
