Freshman guard Bolden Brace sunk a school record 10 three-pointers en route to 40 points. It was just the third 40-point game in school history; the other two were accomplished by NBA veterans Jose Juan Barea in 2005 and Reggie Lewis in 1986.

After the exhibition against the Boston Red Sox, the Huskies remained in Florida throughout the weekend, taking on North Florida four times across three days.
Friday’s game marked Opening Day for the Huskies. Senior right-hander Mike Fitzgerald got the starting nod after serving as NU’s shutdown closer in 2016.
“It’s been great to be out there with a great group of guys, guys I can call my brothers,” Williams said.
The split week brought the Huskies to a 7-7 conference record and 14-12 overall.
Despite some positive developments from NU’s role players, the fact remains that the Huskies are coming off back-to-back losses with a battered team. With the looming CAA tournament fast approaching, the team will look to finally return to full strength.
