Days of democratic protests, lively concerts and stunning feats of human athleticism filled the month of March with excitement and action. Needless to say, March’s array of events gave the spring season a strong start. We sent our photographers out to capture it all, and here’s the best of what they brought back.

Excited to begin her second year, Margot Murphy is a journalism major with a psychology minor and is a deputy photo editor at The News. Her first year she worked as a staff member and photographer, competing in ballroom dancing on the side.
