Northeastern dining halls are welcoming the fall season by celebrating All-American Burger Week, preparing some of students’ favorite recipes for those who crave extra toppings on their juicy beef patties.
From bleu cheese and bacon burgers to little Italy burgers filled with mozzarella, sautéed mushrooms and marinara sauce on focaccia, chefs at Levine Market Place are pulling out all of the stops to create burgers that students find tasty.
“Most of these specials are from student input,” Al Fortini, one of the managers at Levine Market Place, said.
Northeastern’s All American Burger Week is one of the many programs that dining services offers to change up the menu and get suggestions on what new foods students want to try.
Fortini said that the most popular burger thus far has been the BBQ burger, which is filled with smoked gouda and fried onions.
A complete list of these delicious burgers can be found on Northeastern’s dining website: www.nudining.com. All American Burger Week at Northeastern runs this week from noon – 2 p.m.
