Hugh Willett, junior history major.
As Willett walked through the library quad, his outfit looked nothing but sharp against the background of a gray autumn day. Sporting gray Ralph Lauren pants, a salmon colored polo, brown Clarks and a tweed jacket, Willett made it evident that men can dress fashionably too.
When he’s not rocking a blazer and nice pants, Willett enjoys wearing the comfortable fashions of one of his favorite clothing brand, Levi’s.
Nonetheless, Willett believes it’s important for college students to know how to dress professionally.
“Too many people in college wear sweatshirts and sweatpants and that’s not preparing us for the real world,” Willett said.
Allie Turner, junior architecture major.
As the seasons turn, so do the fashions – but for Turner’s outfit, these staples will never go out of style. Turner’s classic beige coat was clear proof that a trench can be worn on any day of the week, even when it’s not raining. Paired with brown leggings, tall white socks and dark brown lace-up GoJane boots, Turner quickly takes this look from tailored to comfy.
“I’m an architecture major so I’m more ‘design-y’ but I mostly go for more comfortable [styles],” she explained.
Turner often searches for most of her clothes at stores that are known for their latest fashion trends and reasonable prices.
“My favorite stores are H&M and Forever 21,” Turner said.
Regardless of the price tag, Turner rocks her clothes as if they were any designer label, making a classic fashion statement along the way.
