Wen Zhang, freshman pharmacy major
With temperatures rising, it’s definitely tempting reach for a pair of flip flops – but don’t put away your favorite boots just yet. Pairing them with a fresh, feminine dress can make for a great spring mix. Zhang pulls it off perfectly by combining a lacy Roem dress with her brown leather ankle boots.
Charlotte Clinch, freshman psychology/American Sign Language major
From actual hippies to Jessa on Girls, proponents of the maxi skirt will tell you that it’s the easiest and most comfortable article of clothing in the world. And, unlike so many of the world’s most comfortable things, (Snuggies, Ugg boots, being naked) nobody will judge you for wearing them in public. Clinch hits the nail on the head by pairing the bohemian patterned maxi skirt she found in a Thailand market with a simple teal tank top and one amazing pair of sunglasses.
Alex Williams, sophomore biochemistry major
Everyone loves a good oxford shirt now and again, but sophomore biochemistry major Williams demonstrates that you don’t always have to dress up to look great. Williams’ color blocked henley is from Urban Outfitters and the laid-back khakis are from Gap. His casual basics are perfect for looking put together without being buttoned-up.
