The Northeastern cross country team rounded out its 2014 season this weekend at the Intercollegiate Association of Amateur Athletes of America/Eastern College Athletic Conference (IC4A/ECAC) Championships in Bronx, N.Y. on Nov. 22.
The team placed 12 out of 15 teams with a score of 312. Columbia, Princeton and Georgetown Universities took home the top spots.
Freshman Christian Stafford completed the 5K in 26:22.5, good enough for 44th place out of 121 runners.
Senior Charles Conway followed Stafford with a time of 26:24.8 and a 47th place finish.
Freshman Ben Trapani rounded out the top-three Husky finishers, coming in 63rd. Trapani has been a strong contributor to the NU team, earning first place at the Keene State College Alumni Invitational in August.
Northeastern had a solid overall season, with the men earning five top-10 finishes and the women notching four top-15 finishes.
The cross country runners, also members of the track and field team, will now prepare for the track and field season opener at Boston University on Saturday.
