Is anyone else starting to feel picked on?
In a move we would say has to do directly with the aura of intolerance for Northeastern students, Boston City Councilor Michael Ross is attempting to pass an ordinance that would require the school to give all the off-campus addresses for its students to the Boston Police. This makes it easier for the police to label a party Northeastern’s, or any other college in Boston for that matter. It also will allow the police to report directly back to the school so students can face on-campus punishment for their off-campus transgressions.
This has gone beyond sniffing out underage drinking. This is about Northeastern and the city attempting to drive Northeastern students out of the neighborhoods.
