Hi, My name is Ben Brown and I am a sophomore at Northeastern. I am currently on co-op in San Diego working for the Navy. I am training to complete an olypic distance triathlon with the Team in Training organization. This is an organization teamed with the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society that competes in endurance events to help raise money for cancer research. It is made up of marathoners, triathletes, and cyclists. I have a website set up through Team in Training for more info and a background of the honorary teammate that we are racing for. I was wondering if you could put something in the Northeastern News about this cause and help raise awareness and fundraising efforts. I started multi-sport endurance events this past summer and have competed in three sprint distance triathlons and two duathlons placing 1st in my category in 3 of the races.
