I can honestly say I never understood by the statutory fantasy of the Olsen twins. Nor was I really impressed by the fame, fortune and industry built around them. To me, they would always be in a diaper, sitting in that spaghetti pot, as Joey and Uncle Jesse try to figure out how best to care for them.
Since those days on TV’s “Full House,” Mary-Kate and Ashley have done it all, from movies to music videos, and even to sitting atop a multi-million dollar corporation, Dualstar, with lawyer Robert Thorne.
That is, until last Thursday when the twins approached Thorne and offered to buy his minority share in the company. Now, at the tender but legal age of 18, the Olsens are poised to not only be the poster children of the corporation, but to actually run the whole damn thing.
One is left to ask:
