Committee seeks chairs for Homecoming 2005 Representatives from several student organizations met in the Curry Student Center Monday night for the second Homecoming meeting. Topics including potential marketing strategies and changing or canceling events were discussed. There are still seven chairs on the Homecoming committee left to be filled, said Brooke Tempesta, director of campus activities. Applications can be handed in to Tom Kneafsey, this year’s homecoming director. This year’s Homecoming Week coincides with Parent’s Weekend, and the committee is planning joint events. Representatives were present from the Council for University Programs, Latin American Student Association, Student Ambassadors and NU Fanzone. All of the events for Homecoming are tentative and subject to change. The next Homecoming meeting will be held on July 11 at 6:30 p.m. in 435 Curry Student Center.
