Rock snobs and computer geeks unite.
Each night this week, a local artist is showcasing the musical power of Apple computers at this week’s Macworld-Berklee Music Festival. The genres covered a range from jazz to experimental rock and everything in between.
Richard Feldman, creator of the festival, said the idea was to “showcase artists who compose and produce their works on the Mac.”
“We’re a Mac-heavy school,” said Berklee faculty member and musician Matt Jenson. All incoming freshmen students to Berkelee are recommended to purchase G4 laptops. There is even a Digital Performance Ensemble students are able to perform with.
