College Republicans and Democrats debate
Affirmative Action, environmental policies, social programs and tax cuts will be among topics debated from 8 p.m. to 9 p.m. tonight in 335 Shillman Hall by Northeastern students in an event sponsored by Northeastern University College Democrats and Northeastern University College Republicans. The debate will be held in association with Political Week.

Volly for Vets Tournament
The Northeastern University College Republicans will host a Volleyball Tournament from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Marino Center. Teams of four can register from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. today in front of the bookstore in the Curry Student Center. There is a $5 entry fee per person. Proceeds will benefit the Wounded Warrior Project, an organization that provides various services to injured members of the military.

Fashion show for Uganda Peace Week
Invisible Children at NU will host The Merch That Launched the Mission Fashion Show, a part of Uganda Peace Week, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Monday in the west addition of Curry Student Center. The event will benefit the Northeastern chapter of Invisible Children, a global organization that aims to end the abduction of African children into military service. Election Viewing Party
Students are invited to watch the election night results starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday at afterHOURS. The event is part of Political Week, hosted by the NU College Republicans, NU College Democrats, Progressive Student Alliance and Political Science Student Association.

Impact of Midterm Elections Panel
Former Massachusetts governor and Northeastern political science professor, Michael Dukakis, and former Boston City Council member Lawrence DiCara will join Northeastern professors to discuss the midterm election results, as well as the impact the outcome will have on congress and President Barack Obama’s first term. The university Political Science Department, Political Science Student Association and the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Society for Public Policy and Administration are hosting the event as part of Political Week. The discussion will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday in 20 West Village F.
