Classy beverages may seem like thing of the past thanks to cheap-thrill drinks like Four Loko, and since it will be banned as of Monday, students will need a new drink to turn to. Step up the drink selection at your next party by serving something that tastes a little less like flavored beer and a little more like something that could be served on the Thanksgiving dinner table.
The Apple Almond Cocktail might be a beverage that adults would serve to dinner guests, but it is easy enough that anyone with any budget can make it.
If alcoholic drinks aren’t a preference, or it’s a Monday or Tuesday evening when drinking is out of the question, there are other options to get a tasty fall flavor fix. A simple non-alcoholic option to satisfying that craving is an Apple Cider Milkshake.
With easy-to-find ingredients paired with simple preparation, these options are ideal for college students (the first option only for those students above the age of 21, of course).
