Entry of the Week:

Not the Super Bowl, its the Burrito Bowl. Rattlesnake restaurant will kick off Boston’s first ever “Burrito Bowl,” with Chef Brian Poe of Poe’s Kitchen, on Saturday, Feb. 5. The Bowl’s culinary competition will bring some of the city’s best chefs together to determine whose burrito creation is truly the most supreme. In honor of the following day’s Super Bowl XLV, each chef will make a signature burrito that reflects their favorite NFL team. Each burrito will be served to attendees “bowl-style” and  will then be rated. Some of the participating chefs are coming from popular restaurants around Boston, such as Stephanie’s on Newbury, Boloco, Taranta, Gargoyles on the Square, and Tremont 647. 384 Boylston St.; 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.; $15; 617-859-8555.

Thursday, Feb. 3

NASA research scientist and photographer Joe Heyman will be at Northeastern to give a “Meet the Artist” talk. Heyman, a Northeastern alumnus, photographs people and cultures exploring the dawn of new knowledge. Immediately following his speech, there will be a reception and opening for his exhibit “People of the World” in Gallery 360, section A. There will be food, refreshments and music for everyone to enjoy. 333 Curry Student Center; Noon to 2:30 p.m.; Free; 617-373-2821.

Spend the evening with Congressman Mike Capuano, courtesy of the NU Political Science Student Association and the Phi Alpha Delta Pre-Law Fraternity. Friday, Feb. 4

Relay for Life, the American Cancer Society’s signature fundraising event, will take place Saturday, March 26 to Sunday, March 27, and there are many Northeastern teams looking to raise as much money as possible for the event. Conor Larkins Grill & Tap is hosting a fundraiser to help with their efforts. Pay $10 at the door for unlimited appetizers and all the proceeds will go to a Relay for Life team. Enjoy a jam-packed night of music and dancing with the Latin American Student Organization’s annual spring concert at afterHOURS, called 24HORAS:  Los Inolvidables. Saturday, Feb. 5

YouTuber Bo Burnham is coming to Boston. Although he’s still a teenager, this comedian is a favorite of many. In 2006, he began writing and posting songs online, such as “I’m Bo yo,” which became extremely popular. Soon after, he started playing live shows at colleges, clubs and theatres. He is currently the youngest person to have recorded a Comedy Central special. And now, Burnham will be on stage at the Wilbur Theatre right here in the Bean as part of his 2011 tour. 246 Tremont St.; 7 p.m. and 10 p.m. show times; $22.50; 800-745-3000.

Sunday, Feb. 6

Boston-based band How the Fireworks, formerly known as The Advocates, is playing at The Middle East. The alternative rock band has been playing in the Massachusetts/New Hampshire region since 2008 and is currently recording its next album with Brickyard Records. Monday, Feb. 7

Learn how to build confidence and become a leader at Northeastern’s Leadership Consultant Program’s first Pathway presentation. These presentations are given by upperclassmen once a month about various leadership topics, like managing culture shock, stress management, global opportunities, and setting personal goals. The program is a part of LEAD 360, a component of Northeastern’s experiential learning model. 343 Curry Student Center; 7 p.m.; Free; 617-373-2642.

Tuesday, Feb. 8

Ready to switch up that fitness routine? Try out a SkyRobics class at SkyZone Indoor Trampoline Park. The class is considered low-impact and combines advanced calisthenics, core excercises and strength building aerobics, which are all done on all-trampoline, walled playing courts. Wednesday, Feb. 9

Chill out and chisel down. With all the recent snow campus has seen, there’s no better time to check out the 16th annual International Ice Carving Competition in Kretzman Quadrangle, hosted by the International Student and Scholar Institute (ISSI). Witness the artistry behind the ice sculptures that teams of talented students and staff are showcasing. Either enjoy the event as a spectator or get in on the action and participate on a team.
