Missing Wrentham boy’s truck found near Northeastern

Update: Matthew Glass was found safe around 10 p.m. Thursday in Dedham by Wertham Police, according to published reports.

Police are still looking for a 17-year-old Wrentham boy who was last seen Tuesday afternoon. Boston Police Department (BPD) officers found Matthew Glass’ red 2000 Dodge Dakota this morning on Huntington Avenue near Northeastern, Wrentham police said in a news conference today.

Glass drove to Boston around 3 p.m. Tuesday from Wrentham – about 45 minutes south of the city – to take his computer in for repair at the Apple Store on Boylston Street, according to a Wrentham Police report issued this morning.

Police suspect Matthew did not arrive at the Apple Store and say his cell phone was turned off. The phone was last used around 9 p.m. Tuesday near 409 Huntington Ave., across the street from Northeastern’s West Village buildings.

Missing Person posters were posted in the Fens and the Fenway area this afternoon by volunteers. Police say Matthew is 6 feet tall and about 190 lbs.

Wrentham Police ask anyone with information about the case to call Detective Lt. William McGrath at (508) 384-2121 ext. 9.
