Events will help students in apartment search
Off Campus Student Services is hosting two events over the next week to help students prepare for their apartment search.
The events, called ‘Know Before You Go,’ are scheduled for today at 6 p.m. and Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 5:30 p.m. Topics include what to look for in a lease agreement, what to expect in the apartment hunting process and the realities of off campus life.
Volunteer fair can connect students to non-profits
More than 60 organizations from on campus and the greater Boston area will offer volunteering opportunities for students from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. tomorrow in the Curry Student Center’s indoor quad.

A capella groups collaborate at Blackman
Northeastern’s student a capella groups are planning a joint concert in Blackman Auditorium tomorrow at 8:00 p.m. The UniSons, Distilled Harmony, Treble on Huntington, The Nor’easters and The Downbeats will sing at the show. Tickets are free through the myNEU portal.
Xhibition Kitchen to feature North End chef
Jose Duarte, chef and owner of the North End restaurant Taranta is scheduled to come to the Xhibition Kitchen in the Stetson West dining hall, where he will prepare ceviche, a popular Italian-Peruvian restaurant. Attending students will be entered to win a gift certificate to Taranta.
