Study abroad trips unchanged despite swine flu
The Office of International Study Programs (OISP) has not canceled Summer II and Fall trips to Mexico due to the recent outbreak of Swine Flu in the country, said Northeastern spokesperson Renata Nyul. Nyul said the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) lowered it’s travel advisory level in regards to Mexico, and OISP saw no immediate reason to cancel the trips. They will be following all reports from the CDC closely as the trips draw closer, she said.
