Husky hoop fans will enjoy a rare lunch break treat Nov. 17:’ a nationally televised game.
The men’s basketball game at Siena, Nov. 17 at noon, will be televised nationally on ESPN. Siena men’s basketball head coach Fran McCaffery made the announcement June 15. The Tuesday contest will take place at the Times Union Center in Albany, N.Y.
The game is part of a 24-hour block of consecutive college basketball games on ESPN.
The Saints have won 21 consecutive games at home. Last season, Siena finished with a record of 26-7 in the regular season and advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament, losing to Louisville 79-72 March 22.
Northeastern finished 19-13 and advanced to the second round of the College Basketball Invitational, losing to the University of Texas, El Paso 75-66 March 23.
