Jeffery Doggett, vice president of government relations and community affairs, announced his resignation at the end of the 2009-2010 academic year in a press release.
According to the release, Doggett wrote a letter to his colleagues announcing his resignation and highlighting his collaborative achievements.
Among them, he cited the creation of the Center of Community Service, revamping Northeastern’s construction program and the Stony Brook Initiative, a dialogue between the university and surrounding neighborhoods.
The press release did not cite a reason for Doggett’s resignation, and Doggett did not respond to calls and an e-mail late Thursday evening.
