University Night at Black Nativity Friday night
The Tremont Temple will host University Night at Black Nativity this Friday. A reception ($15) will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in the Kennedy Room at the Omni Parker House Hotel. The performance starts at 8 p.m. Tickets for orchestra and first balcony are $51; second balcony, $37. Price includes admission to both reception and performance. Dance group to hold first Winter Recital
No Limits Dance Crew will perform their first Winter Recital in Blackman Auditorium this Saturday. Performances will begin at 3 p.m. and 10 p.m. and will feature several different dance styles including tap, jazz, ballet, lyrical, hip-hop, bollywood, belly dancing and afro-fusion. Musical theater group to perform Sunday
The Great White Way, Northeastern’s student-run musical theatre group, will perform ‘Broadway Through The Years,’ this Sunday at 6 p.m. in Blackman Auditorium. The musical performance features numbers from the 1950s through today including Songs for a New World, Jersey Boys, Hairspray, Sweet Charity and Rent. Half of the refreshment sales will go to Fractured Atlas, a group dedicated to supporting a national community of artists and art organizations. Gingerbread Village will be on display Friday
The Xhibition Kitchen will put on its annual Gingerbread Village Display Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Xhibition Kitchen is located in the Stetson West Eatery. All houses displayed were constructed by Northeastern students in the ninth annual Gingerbread Construction Contest. Students are encouraged to vote on their favorite houses.
