Monday, Nov. 3
9:26 a.m.
The cashier at Wollaston’s Market in Marino Center reported the manager speaking with a male he saw shoplifting. Northeastern University Police Department (NUPD) officers responded and spoke with the male suspect, who was not affiliated with the university. The manager did not press charges, and the male was banned from campus and sent on his way.
3:58 p.m.
A student reported his laptop was taken from the lobby of Snell Library between 3:55 and 4:10 p.m. while left unattended. A report was filed.
5:47 p.m.
A student reported to NUPD that she confronted a stranger attempting to steal her unattended laptop from Snell Library at approximately 4 p.m. She witnessed the male suspect trying to place her computer into his black computer bag, but she was able to retrieve the device. A report was filed.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
8:46 p.m.
An NU student reported that her roommate in 115 St. Stephens St. had stolen some of her personal possessions, including jewelry and perfumes, while she was moving out of their apartment. A report was filed.
Wednesday, Nov. 5
1:45 p.m.
A student reported her blue Schwinn bike was stolen from the bike rack in front of Hurtig Hall after she last saw it on Nov. 4. A report was filed.
2:44 p.m.
A student reported her laptop was stolen while she was at the Forsyth Street Bank of America ATM. A report was filed.
11:22 p.m.
Snell Library staff reported finding a bag of marijuana dropped in the lobby by an unknown student. An officer responded and collected the bag. There was no description of the party who dropped it. A report was filed.
Thursday, Nov. 6
9:30 a.m.
An access and privileges coordinator at Snell Library notified NUPD that there was a male on the stairs of the library asking students to get him inside the facility. Officers responded and reported that the suspect was no longer at the library. NUPD was informed that he appeared to be walking towards the Curry Student Center, and officers stopped a male fitting the description of the suspect. The male, who was not affiliated with the university, was identified and confirmed that he was previously at the library. He was found to have prior offenses and was banned from Snell Library property.
Friday, Nov. 7
12:46 a.m.
A student reported an intoxicated male in the basement of Melvin Hall. Officers responded and found the male to be conscious but not alert. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) responded and transported the subject to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The Residence Director (RD) on call was notified, and the student was escorted back to campus at 5:38 a.m.
1:49 p.m.
A student notified NUPD that when she got out of the shower of her apartment in 315 Huntington Ave., her laptop computer was missing. She had been alone in the apartment. A report was filed.
2:52 p.m.
Graffiti was found in the rear of Light Hall. Facilities was notified, and a work order was placed.
Saturday, Nov. 8
1:18 a.m.
A student reported an intoxicated male passed out at the help desk of Curry Student Center. EMS responded and deemed hospital transportation unnecessary.
2:41 a.m.
Boston EMS responded to a call at 10 Coventry St. for an intoxicated female and transported her to Boston Children’s Hospital. The RD on call was notified.
3:02 a.m.
A Resident Advisor (RA) on duty in Stetson West reported an intoxicated female vomiting in a dorm room. NUPD responded and spoke with the student, who admitted to consuming alcohol underage. She stayed with her friends in the dorm overnight.
5:03 p.m.
A student reported his computer missing from the fourth floor of Snell LIbrary when he left it unattended between 3:54 and 4:05 p.m. A report was filed.
11:15 p.m.
An RA in Kennedy Hall reported an intoxicated, underage student in one of the rooms. NUPD responded and requested EMS, which transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The RD on call was notified.
Sunday, Nov. 9
1:20 a.m.
Housing & Residential Life staff member reported a student said an unknown male smelling of alcohol followed her home to Speare Hall from the train, grabbed her arm and kissed her. The student then ducked into the building and the male left in an unknown direction. A report was filed.
1:54 a.m.
An RA in Light Hall stated that a student was vomiting in one of the rooms. NUPD responded and requested EMS for an evaluation. EMS transported the underage student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center at 2:32 a.m. The RD on call was notified.
