For students making the move off campus, deciding what neighborhood they want to live in is an important choice.

“Make sure you find a place that you like, because ultimately it’s your house and you have to live there,” said Joe Hassell, a real estate agent for Fenway Realty Group. The Fenway, best known as the center of Boston baseball, has more to offer than just its ballpark. It can also be a place for students looking to remain within walking distance.

Students will likely pay about $1,000 per room or more in the Fenway area, according to the Fenway Realty Group, since a four-bedroom apartment will go for $4,500.

Students over 21 can visit some of Boston’s most popular bars and clubs on Lansdowne Street, or anywhere in the Fenway Area.

Erika Jones, a junior political science major, said the clubs are loud and overpriced.

“I do, however, frequent the bars,” she said. Jillian’s is obviously a great choice because of the big screens, bowling, and pool options. Plus it’s huge so there’s rarely a line.”
