Michael Beach speaks with Mia Anderson of Jamaica Plain after she performs a monologue in front of participants at the Roxbury Film Festival in the Egan Research Center Saturday. The four-day festival showcased many different works to promote diversity from July 26 to July 30. In addition to Northeastern, films were shown at the Museum of Fine Arts, Massachusetts College of Arts, Wentworth Institute of Technology and Roxbury Center for the Arts at Hibernian Hall.
