About 120 children from Boston- area community centers – many dressed in Halloween costumes – were treated to a jubilant Halloween Carnival last night that featured music, face painting, pumpkin decorating and a haunted trail.
The carnival, held in the West Village Quad from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., was made possible by the collaborative effort of several Northeastern student organizations. The Latin American Student Organization (LASO) spearheaded the event, and volunteers represented the Center for University Programming (CUP), Student Government Association (SGA), Resident Student Association (RSA), Latino Student Cultural Center (LSCC), Kappa Sigma and the West Village Hall Councils.
