Ignorance is bliss.
I’ve recently realized this is the motto followed by half the people I know. They live it. They breathe it. They would rather not know or care about what’s going on around them.
I dream of a university full of students eager to talk about the NU ID numbers or President Joseph Aoun’s inauguration.
Then I laugh at my idealism. Yes, like John Lennon, I am a dreamer.
