New plan brings change to cultural centers

As the Academic Initiative Plan takes action this semester, Northeastern officials are looking to three of the cultural centers on campus to be focal points in the change, despite uneasiness among some students.

“[When I first heard about the upcoming changes] I was a little scared that we would fall through the cracks, but I like change,” said Luz Mederos, president of the Latin American Student Organization.

Ed Klotzbier, vice president for student affairs, said he wants to assure students that the administration is open to hearing their concerns.

“One of the big concerns [among students] is that they won’t have a voice.
