Pena named MLB’s Comeback Player of the Year

Tampa Bay Devil Rays first baseman Carlos Pena, an alumus who played for the Huskies from 1997 -98, was named the American League’s Comeback Player of the Year last week. During his rookie season with Tampa, Pena broke several club records, including 46 home runs, good for fourth-best in Major League Baseball.
