Since the university’s recent signing of the new anti-hazing statute, there has been some discussion of how Greek organizations have previously handled hazing. Northeastern sororities enforce a strict anti-hazing policy. The Panhellenic Council is the governing body of the five National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) sororities on campus, and we will be adding a sixth sorority in January. Our individual organizations enforce strict anti-hazing policies, and our Panhellenic Council ensures these policies are being followed. Due to the importance our organizations place on anti-hazing policies, we have not dealt with an issue with hazing in more than 10 years.
