Editorial: The state of transparency

In early October, the Faculty Senate passed several resolutions. Among these was a request to the president and the provost to work with faculty to ensure “greater transparency” within the university. It was a resolution President Joseph Aoun appeared to support when he visited and spoke at a Faculty Senate hearing later that month.

But in the period since then, the administration has been anything but transparent, particularly when it comes to the two committees that decide the fate of institutions that impact the student body:
