A small crowd of students attended a second forum sponsored by the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR), Tuesday, contrasting the unattended first meeting last week.
About 30 students and OSCCR staff gathered in the Raytheon Ampitheater to voice suggestions for reforms for the upcoming Code of Conduct reevaluation.
From the earliest minutes of the forum, OSCCR Director Valerie Randall-Lee made it clear the forum would last no more than an hour and would not be an opportunity for students to voice their complaints or ask questions. Students were only to offer suggestions of aspects of the code they wished to see reviewed by the committee, she said.
“You may have questions about process and procedure, things like that – that’s not for today’s meeting,” Randall-Lee said. “If you have questions about those kind of things, I would say not to take away from people’s time
