The Northeastern Huskies beat Army’s Black Knights 190-110 Saturday at the Barletta Natatorium. The victory brought the three-time American East title winners to 4-0 for the 2002 swimming season.
This is the fourth year in a row that Northeastern has beaten Army; last year they defeated them 171-129.
“We were pretty confident going in,” said Husky coach Roy Coates. “They improved [during the meet], but we were still the stronger squad.
“It was a very solid meet,” he added.
