New UHCS director meets SGA senators
New University Health and Counseling Services (UHCS) director Madeline Estabrook formally introduced herself to the Student Government Association (SGA) joint-senate Monday, May 12. Estabrook outlined her general plans for the health center and addressed some of the challenges it faces. Committee will explore environmental possibilities
The Student Government Association (SGA) is forming a committee aiming to investigate environmental initiatives on campus. The Renewable Energy Initiative Committee will research, review and allocate funding for renewable energy projects on campus, according to a myNEU announcement. The committee will meet on a monthly basis, starting as early as July, according to the announcement. The committee is a joint initiative of SGA, the Resident Student Association and the Husky Energy Action Team. There will also be spots available for students at large to be on the committee. MyNEU portal to be temporarily unavailable to students
The myNEU portal and university-run e-mail services will be unavailable from 6:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Sunday, May 25. Information Services will be updating the system during the nine-hour outage. Students will not have access to myNEU; most Husky and credit card transactions; all e-mail and departmental drives; and all NUnet applications during the outage.
