Got an idea? A concern? A problem? Let The Huntington News know:

Dunkin’ what?

Last quarter The News got word through the grapevine that Dunkin Donuts would be opening on campus, in Shillman Hall to be exact, at the beginning of this quarter.

So where is that dreamy scent of doughnuts and java? Well, that is still yet to be determined. When NU’s department of public relations and communications were questioned as to the whereabouts of the new coffee place, representatives of the department seemed uninformed of any details of the construction.

At first thought, one would assume that a new franchise coming to campus is big news. If the people who are a staple in getting the word out about current news at NU aren’t informed about changes made to the campus, how will they make sure that the proper information is given to the proper people?

What if someone forgot to tell the PR office about building West Village G? That might cause a snafu when the news channels start calling.

The fact that this new breakfast hot spot will be replacing the ever-so-popular Chartwell’s kiosk is exciting to students and faculty, but the switch should be perceived as an example of the lack of communication throughout the university.
