All students are invited to get involved with the Writing on the Wall Project, which is designed to represent the breakdown of barriers caused by oppression. In order to construct the wall as an accurate representation of barriers within NU’s community, student groups can sign up for brick painting sessions. The project also needs volunteers to staff the sessions and hand out information during the week the wall will be up. Brick painting times will be Wed. Oct. 8 from 11:45 a.m. to 1:25 p.m. in the Library Quad and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Speare Cafeteria, also Thurs. Oct. 9 from 2:50 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the Library Quad and from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the African American Institute.
