January 15 Thursday Billy Novick, a clarinet and saxaphone player will be playing at Old South Meeting House at 310 Washington Street as part of the program “The Jazz Age – Music of the 1920s.” The show will run from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m. and is $5. January 16 Thursday The Brattle Theatre will hold its first queer cinema festival this weekend. Cambridge Queer Weekend goes from this Friday to Sunday with various show times. Tickets are $9 per film and all ages are welcome. Films will be shown at the Brattle Theatre at 40 Brattle Street in Harvard Square. Ongoing Cafe Fleuri at 250 Franklin Street, returns for the 15th year of bringing an all-you-can eat buffet of desserts this Saturday from noon to 3 p.m. Having desserts that can make Willy Wonka’s mouth water including light and dark chocolate mousses, cakes, tortes, eclairs, crepes, cookies and pies this “chocolate bar” will grace the city of Boston every Saturday from January 17 through February 28, 2004.
