Entrepreneurial expo showcases Northeastern startups

The exposition, put on by IDEA, Northeastern University’s venture accelerator, showcased 27 startups Thursday. The companies at the event were associated with either the Husky Startup Challenge, IDEA or the National Science Foundation I-Corps program, which matches students with mentors and teaches them how to commercialize their ideas.

Northeastern’s Student Government Association, or SGA, sent the annual Budget Priorities Survey to the undergraduate student body Nov. 6. The results of this survey are used by the SGA Cabinet to make recommendations to senior administrative personnel. Paradise Papers tie Northeastern to offshore fossil fuel investments

Leaked Paradise Paper documents revealed Northeastern and several other universities have invested part of their endowments in fossil fuels via an offshore hedge fund, according to an article published in the Guardian Wednesday.
