Northeastern baseball clawing out of CAA cellar

After the Northeastern baseball team defeated Hofstra 10-2 in Hempstead, N.Y. on Sunday afternoon, the Huskies have now won five of their last six games. Head coach Neil McPhee’s club is now in sixth place in the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) with a 6-9 record in conference play, and just 1.5 games behind the Delaware Blue Hens from fourth place in the league.

The Northeastern men’s and women’s track teams kicked off postseason competition last weekend at the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Championships in Harrisonburg, Va. Both squads took home second-place team finishes while two Huskies earned individual honors for their exceptional performances on the track and in the field.
