Boston National Poetry Month Festival will be held at the Boston Public Library, Copley Branch and Northeastern. On Saturday, April 3, the festival will be at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Sunday, April 4, the festival will be held in 410 and 430 Dodge Hall. Northeastern’s Theatre Department will present “Dr. Caligari and All the Rest,” a new play adapted for the stage by Dmitry Troyanovsky and Gave Geltzer. The show will run March 31 to April 3. Performances will be at The Studio Theatre in the Curry Student Center and begin at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 for Wednesday and Thursday shows and $13 for Friday and Saturday shows. As part of Holocaust Awareness Week, the Holo-caust Awareness Committee will be sponsoring a lecture entitled “Remembrance and Reconciliation: Why the Memory of the Holocaust Matters Today.” The lecture is free to the public and will be held in Blackman Auditorium, Ell Hall, from noon to 1:30 p.m. The lecture will feature Bjorn Krondorfer, an associate professor of religious studies at St. Mary’s College, Maryland, as this German native, born afer WWII, combines his personal and scholarly commitment to justice. April 1 Thursday Holocaust survivors will share their experiences and accounts at Northeastern’s annual Philip N. Backstrom, Jr. Survivor Lecture Series, from 9:15 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Sacred Space in Ell Hall. April 3 Saturday The Undergraduate South Asian Student Association (UTSAV) will hold its first Baisakhi Mela celebration in the Krentzman Quadrangle. Baiskhi is the holiest day on the calendar for over 20 million Sikhs worldwide. For many, Baiskhi marks the beginning of the Sikhs’ new year and also, for some Punjabis, it is the beginning of the harvest season and a time of happiness. April 4 Sunday The Northeastern Concert Band will be performing works by Levinson, McBeth and Bell at 3 p.m. in Blackman Auditorium in Ell Hall. Allen Feinstein will be the conductor for this performance with William Drury as the associate conductor. Tickets are $7 for the general public and $5 for students and seniors.
