The Red Cross will soon be receiving over $2,000, partially due to a man in a cowboy hat and backless sweatpants dancing to Belinda Carlisle’s “Heaven is a Place on Earth.”
The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) held its fourth annual Student-Athlete Date Auction Sunday to raise money for Northeastern’s Tsunami Relief Fund. The auction raised $1,271.20, which the university matched to push the grand total to $2,542.40. Twenty-nine athletes from all the varsity sports participated.
