The times continue to change with Northeastern men’s hockey.
A new coaching staff is in place, a new senior class will rise, a new goaltender will play full-time and now, the so-called Worldwide Leader in Sports has stepped in on Huntington Avenue.
ESPN Radio, in Boston on 890 AM and on 1400 AM in the Lowell area, has signed on to broadcast all Husky games, home and away, for the 2005-06 season.
The announcement is exciting for Northeastern sports and the men’s hockey program in particular, as over the past several seasons, less than half of NU’s hockey games have been on commercial broadcast. Additionally, NU men’s hockey will be the only collegiate hockey team covered by ESPN Radio Boston this season.

NU opens its season in North Dakota for a pair of games on October 14 and 15 against the Fighting Sioux.
