Lecture on international volunteer work today
The Lutheran-Episcopal Campus Ministry, with the help of Northeastern University Spiritual Life, will host “A Conversation With Ugandan Bishop Zebedee Masereka: Looking for an International Experience to Help the World?” in The Sacred Space on the second floor of Ell Hall today from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Masereka is the founder and leader of the Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation, an organization that provides education and medical support for Western Uganda. Panel discussion on sustainability tonight
The Office of Sustainability and Energy Management will host a sustainability panel to discuss sustainability research, education and outreach going on at Northeastern. Student art from Ireland will be displayed
The Department of Art + Design will host “Art from Ireland 2010,” an exhibit featuring paintings and drawings by Northeastern students from the Ireland study abroad program. Author will talk about women’s issues Monday
The Northeastern Library, Bookstore and Department of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies will bring OB/GYN physician Lissa Rankin to 421 Snell Library for a Meet The Author Series to talk about her book, “What’s Up Down There,” a light-hearted guide to gynecology for the average woman. Harmonix co-founder will give engineering talk
Eran Egozy, co-founder and chief technical officer of Harmonix, the company responsible for the Rock Band and Guitar Hero video games, will speak at the College of Engineering Dean’s Centennial Lecture Wednesday. The talk will take place in 310 Behrakis Health Sciences Center from 11:45 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. The event is free but requires tickets.
