Delaware took a quick 9-1 lead after three and half minutes with points by four different scorers.
“We got off to a really slow start and didn’t execute our offense well. We were out of rhythm.” head coach Bill Coen said. “I think we had a nice defensive spurt in the second half, but had too many fouls in the game and there was sloppy execution on offense.”
The Huskies finished the season 9-9 in Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) play and 13-16 overall. They will enter the CAA tournament ranked No. 7 and will take on No. 10 William and Mary Friday at 6 p.m. in Richmond, Va.
