7:08 p.m.
A security officer reported an aggressive panhandler in front of Ruggles Station. Northeastern University Division of Public Safety (NUPD) officers responded and escorted the man into the station to catch a train.
11:25 p.m.
A student reported that her roommate’s mother was in West Village C, yelling and threatening her and her roommates. A responding officer reported that a verbal argument took place between the mother and the roommates about noise. By the time the officer arrived, the mother had already left the building and was on her way home.
Wednesday, June 6
10:57 a.m.
An officer found a car with a Northeastern parking decal parked in an illegal parking space in the middle of a lot. A check of the parking file revealed that a staff member reported the decal stolen. The vehicle was actively registered to another staff member. The staff member who owns the vehicle informed the officer that she bought the decal from an unknown former staff member for $450. The decal was confiscated and the vehicle was removed from the lot.
3 p.m.
A student reported that her unattended make-up bag was stolen from Snell Library.
Friday, June 8
1:21 p.m.
A staff member flagged down an officer on St. Botolph Street and said an elderly female appeared to be disoriented and did not know where she was. An officer located the woman, who has no university affiliation, and determined that she lived nearby. The officer walked the woman back to her residence.
Saturday, June 9
2:07 a.m.
A proctor reported that a man who appeared intoxicated was signed into Willis Hall. An officer responded and requested that Boston EMS evaluate the student. Boston EMS determined that he did not need immediate medical attention and could stay in his room.
Monday, June 11
9:09 a.m.
A student reported her Husky Card had been stolen on Friday while she was at the Warren Prescott School on School Street in Charlestown.
12:34 p.m.
A student reported his iPhone was stolen from Boloco in the Marino Center on Saturday.
3:05 p.m.
A student reported that his Husky Card was stolen from the Marino Center and that unauthorized purchases had been made on his card Thursday.
3:15 p.m.
A student approached an officer in the Curry Student Center and reported that a high-school-aged male stole her laptop. The suspect was allegedly accompanied by a second male of about the same age. They were last seen in the area of Hayden Hall running towards World Series Way. Officers checked the area for the suspects but did not find them.
4:41 p.m.
A library staff member reported that a student left his wallet unattended for several minutes while he made a phone call. When he returned, his credit card was missing from his wallet.
6:11 p.m.
A student reported that his bicycle, which was secured with a cable lock, was stolen from the bike racks outside Snell Library between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
8:18 p.m.
A student reported that his unattended wallet had been stolen from the third floor of Snell Library.
10:10 p.m.
Three students, who are roommates in an off-campus apartment, went to NUPD headquarters to report that their fourth roommate, also a student, threatened them with a metal pipe after a verbal argument. The Boston Police Department (BPD) was notified and assumed jurisdiction.
Wednesday, June 13
1:45 a.m.
An officer reported that he stopped a man with no university affiliation who was sleeping on the first floor of Snell Library. The man had a prior trespass warning from April 2011. The officer escorted the man from the building, issued another trespass warning and confiscated a Husky Card.
6:23 p.m.
A staff member in Au Bon Pain in the Marino Center reported that a man was harassing customers in the Marino Center lobby. An officer stopped the man, who has no university affiliation, on Huntington Avenue. He had three prior violations on campus and a criminal history. Officers issued the man a trespass warning.
Thursday, June 14
8:31 a.m.
A student approached an officer on Benton Street and reported that his car had been broken into. The officer reported that the passenger-side window was smashed. A GPS and sailing equipment valued at $920 were missing from the vehicle.
2:31 p.m.
An employee of a lighting and sound company reported that his cell phone was stolen between 7 and 8 p.m. while he worked in Matthews Arena the previous night.
11:33 p.m.
An officer stopped three students who were suspected of possessing open containers of alcohol. The students emptied their drinks and were given a warning. All three students were over the age of 21.
Friday, June 15
3:49 p.m.
A student reported that while she was sitting on a bench in front of the Renaissance Parking Garage an hour earlier, a man in a wheelchair touched the outside of her leg. The woman told officers that it appeared that the man’s wheelchair was intentionally pushed into her by another man. She told the men “No” and ran away from the area. Officers checked the area but did not locate the suspects.
5:03 p.m.
A student reported that her credit card and $20 in cash was stolen from her unattended wallet on the fourth floor of Snell Library.
5:36 p.m.
A student flagged down an officer on The Fenway and reported that he was knocked off his bicycle at the intersection of Gainsborough and St. Stephen streets by three teenaged males driving motorized bikes the wrong way down St. Stephen Street. The student was not injured, but his bicycle was damaged. The student said he notified BPD by calling 911 but had left the scene because police did not arrive.
Saturday, June 16
1:05 a.m.
An officer stopped three people with no university affiliation on the top floor of the Renaissance Parking Garage for a Class D drug violation. They were given a trespass warning.
2:31 a.m.
A proctor in Willis Hall reported a student said there was a drunk man in her room. Officers responded and spoke to a student who was conscious but seemed intoxicated and not alert. The 21-year-old student lives in a room on a different floor and had entered the apartment by mistake. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Brigham and Women’s Hospital.
9:15 p.m.
A resident assistant in front of 337 Huntington Ave. reported that two men were verbally harassing her and her friend. Officers stopped a man unaffiliated with the university who had been drinking at Conor Larkin’s Grill & Tap. The man was given a warning. The second suspect left the area before the officers arrived.
Sunday, June 17
2:43 a.m.
BPD reported an assault in progress in front of the YMCA. An NUPD officer stopped a suspect at the intersection of Speare and Opera places. BPD was notified and responded with the victim, a student who had a small bruise under his right eye. The victim did not identify the suspect, did not wish to press charges and refused any medical attention.
3:23 a.m.
A proctor reported two females were attempting to sign a drunk man into Willis Hall. Officers responded and requested Boston EMS evaluate a 19-year-old student who was conscious and somewhat alert. EMS determined that the student did not need immediate medical attention and could stay in his room.
Monday, June 18
12:16 p.m.
An employee of Rebecca’s Café reported that a woman was jumping on his car across from 171 Hemenway St. Officers stopped the suspect, who has no university affiliation, in front of Ruggles Station. She had sustained lacerations to her hands and was complaining of an injury to her leg. Boston EMS transported the woman to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The victim did not want to file charges.
