9:01 a.m.
A faculty member reported that his university-owned iPad and laptop were stolen on July 3 in Barcelona, Spain.
10:14 p.m.
A student flagged down an officer at Huntington Avenue and Forsyth Street. The student told the officer that he was robbed near the Christian Science Center 15 to 20 minutes prior. The student said a person motioned like he had a weapon under his T-shirt but did not show the weapon. The suspect allegedly stole $160 and fled the area without injuring the student. An officer escorted the student to a Boston Police Department (BPD) station to file a report.
Tuesday, August 14
9:50 a.m.
Someone with no university affiliation walked into Northeastern University Department of Public Safety (NUPD) headquarters to report that a woman in her 60s was harrasing people near the tennis courts in Carter Playground. Officers located the woman in front of 650 Columbus Ave. She agreed to leave the area.
Wednesday, August 15
4:38 a.m.
CSC cleaners reported that there was a male sleeping on the couch in the basement of International Village. Officers responded and spoke to a male with no university affiliation. He was cooperative and sent on his way with a trespass warning for all Northeastern property.
Thursday, August 16
2:30 p.m.
A staff member reported that two computers were stolen from a storage closet in Hayden Hall. The staff member reported that he opened the closet at 12 p.m. so a student employee could store new computers. At 2 p.m., he saw that the door was ajar and the computers were missing.
Friday, August 17
3:33 a.m.
A student reported that there was loud noise coming from 214 Hemenway St. Responding officers spoke with a student who agreed to turn the music down.
Saturday, August 18
12:20 p.m.
A student reported that her vehicle was broken into in front of Kerr Hall. A responding officer reported that the side window was broken and a computer was missing from inside of the vehicle. State Police responded.
8:10 p.m.
A Resident Assistant (RA) reported finding drug paraphernalia in a desk drawer in 319 Huntington Ave. while conducting a room inventory. The residents had moved out for the summer and the room was empty.
Sunday, August 19
12:18 a.m.
An officer reported that he was with a female victim of a domestic assault on the lower busway of Ruggles Station. Officers had stopped a man who had shoved the woman while on the train platform. Transit Police responded and assumed jurisdiction. Transit Police placed the man into custody. Boston EMS transported the woman to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center for treatment of a small laceration. Neither the victim nor the assailant are affiliated with the university.
Monday, August 20
10:24 a.m.
A staff member reported that it appeared someone had broken into a storage room in Hayden Hall. A responding officer reported that the bottom of the door was kicked in and the door was open. Nothing was missing. All computer equipment had been moved since the theft the previous week.
Wednesday, August 22
5:35 p.m.
A staff member reported that she was involved in a family dispute and, as a result, received harassing and threatening emails from family members pertaining to her job.
Friday, August 24
2:39 a.m.
A student reported that his Honda CRV was stolen. BPD and the State Police were notified. The State Police reported that a vehicle matching the description crashed into a parked car near 51 Park Drive. State Police assumed jurisdiction.
8:17 a.m.
Staff in the bookstore reported that a man had stolen books approximately eight minutes prior and fled towards Huntington Avenue. Officers checked the area but could not locate the suspect. Transit Police and BPD were notified.
12:14 p.m.
A personal computer theft alarm sounded in Ryder Hall. A responding officer reported a computer was missing from a classroom. The door to the room had been removed from its hinges and the cabinet securing the computer was pried open.
Saturday, August 25
11:07 p.m.
Someone with no university affiliation reported that there was a loud party at 67 Symphony Road. Responding officers spoke with a female student who was hosting a small group of friends. She informed the officers that the friends were leaving. The guests left the residence without incident.

6:12 p.m.
A student reported that his bicycle was stolen from the West Village Quad.
Monday, August 27
6:49 p.m.
A student reported that a variety of items were stolen from his residence in West Village C, including Tempur-Pedic pillows and cookware.
Tuesday, August 28
6:49 p.m.
The duress alarm in the bookstore was signaled. Responding officers stopped a student at the entrance who had attempted to exit the store with three textbooks that were not paid for. The student was stopped by bookstore staff. The student will be summonsed to court and was issued a trespass warning for the bookstore.
Wednesday, August 29
9:14 p.m.
An officer stopped three males on Gainsborough Street for a liquor law violation. Officers confiscated two 12-packs of Samuel Adams and one 12-pack of Leinenkugel beer.
Thursday, August 30
12:36 a.m.
An RA reported loud music coming from a room in West Village B. Responding officers spoke with a student who agreed to turn down the music.
5:17 p.m.
A bookstore manager reported that a man in his 30s walked out of the store with two pairs of Skullcandy headphones. Officers checked the area but could not locate a suspect.
Friday, August 31
12:07 a.m.
An RA in Stetson East reported the odor of marijuana coming from a room. Responding officers spoke with four students who admitted to smoking. An officer confiscated a small amount of marijuana. The students will be referred to the Office of Student Conduct and Conflict Resolution (OSCCR).
12:51 a.m.
An RA at 144 Hemenway St. reported smelling the odor of marijuana. An officer reported that there was no odor of marijuana in the area. Responding officers spoke with a female student who was asked to lower the volume of music playing in the room.
2:59 a.m.
An RA reported that there was a man sleeping in the first floor bathroom of Speare Hall. A responding officer reported that a 19-year-old student had been drinking and was conscious but not alert. There was vomit in the room. Boston EMS transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The Residence Director (RD) was notified. CSC cleaners were notified to clean up the vomit in the bathroom.
7:59 p.m.
An RA on duty in International Village reported that she knocked on the door of a room to speak with the residents. When the resident answered, he had bloodshot eyes and there was a strong odor of marijuana coming from the room. Responding officers spoke with two students and one other individual unaffiliated with the university. Officers confiscated a small amount of marijuana and several pieces of drug paraphernalia. The students will be referred to OSCCR.
8:30 p.m.
A student reported that there was a college-aged male yelling at pedestrians near Stetson East. Another student reported that a man fitting the same description had just assaulted him in front of Stetson East then fled down Hemenway Street towards Boylston Street. A responding officer stopped a student who was allegedly being extremely combative. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The RD was notified and the student will be referred to OSCCR.
11:08 p.m.
An RA reported that there was a female passed out on the front steps of Stetson West. A responding officer reported that the female was conscious but appeared drunk. Boston EMS transported the 18-year-old student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The RD was notified and the student will be referred to OSCCR.
Saturday, September 1
8:24 p.m.
An officer spoke with a Northeastern student and a Berklee student behind the pump house in the Fenway for a marijuana violation. The officer confiscated a small amount of marijuana and a pipe. The students were sent on their way with a warning.
9:04 p.m.
An officer stopped two 19-year-old students for possession of alcohol. The officer confiscated a case of Bud Light and a case of Pabst Blue Ribbon beer. The students will be referred to OSCCR.
Sunday, September 2
12:39 a.m.
The Resident Safety Office (RSO) reported that there was a drunk female vomiting in Willis Hall. A responding officer reported that a 19-year-old student was conscious but not alert. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The students will be referred to OSCCR.
1:50 a.m.
Officers stopped a Babson College student for urinating in public at the intersection of Ruggles Street and Huntington Avenue. Officers sent him on his way with a warning.
3:41 a.m.
An RA reported that there was a man passed out in the third floor men’s room at White Hall. Responding officers report that there was an 18-year-old student who was conscious but not alert. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The RD was notified and the student will be referred to OSCCR.
9:05 p.m.
A student reported that several items were stolen from her apartment at 109 St. Stephen St. A responding officer reported that $75 in cash and a silver Tiffany chain valued at $150 were missing.
Monday, September 3
12:25 a.m.
An RA requested an evaluation for an intoxicated female in Willis Hall. Responding officers reported that the 19-year-old student was conscious but not alert. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. The RD on call was notified. The student will be referred to OSCCR.
1:09 a.m.
A student reported that her roommate, another female student, was being harassed by an ex-boyfriend, a male alumnus, who was repeatedly calling her after she had informed him that she did not want further contact with him. An officer contacted the man on his cellphone and he agreed to cease all contact with his ex-girlfriend.
9:14 p.m.
A student reported her bike stolen from the basement of 115 Hemenway St., where she had secured it with a U-lock four to five days prior.
Tuesday, September 4
12:16 a.m.
An RA in Davenport Commons A reported that there was an uncooperative male student who appeared to be drunk. Responding officers spoke with a 19-year-old student who was conscious and alert. The student was warned about his behavior and will be referred to OSCCR.
2:18 a.m.
Friends of a student reported they could not locate or contact her since she had left Douglass Park 30 minutes prior. The missing student was allegedly drunk. She was believed to have been on her way to St. Stephen Street. Officers checked St. Stephen Street, Carter Playground, academic sectors and the student’s residence in Davenport A, but could not find her. BPD was notified. An officer then checked Douglass Park and found the student in the second floor trash room sleeping in a puddle of vomit. The officer reported that the student was conscious but not alert. Boston EMS responded and transported the student to Boston Medical Center for further evaluation. The RD on call was notified. The student will be referred to OSCCR.
2:56 a.m.
An officer reported that there was a cab fare dispute on Huntington Avenue outside of the Bank of America. An officer reported that the passenger, a male student, damaged the cab’s mirror and that the driver wished to be compensated. BPD was notified. Officers waited for BPD until 3:35 a.m., at which time both subjects agreed to settle the matter through OSCCR. An officer escorted the student back to his residence at Smith Hall.
