The College of Engineering offers degree programs in five departments: bioengineering, chemical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, electrical and computer engineering, and mechanical and industrial engineering. The college receives more than $30 million in federal funding annually and employs 122 faculty who are involved in both teaching and interdisciplinary research. Graduate engineering programs are mainly interdisciplinary and encourage cross-department collaboration. Nadine Aubry is the dean and administrative offices can be found in the Snell Engineering Center. The formerly known School of Engineering Technology has merged into the Lowell Institute School.
