A bomb threat was called into the Fall River Justice Center at around noon on Thursday, effectively halting the Aaron Hernandez murder trial for roughly two hours, according to multiple reports. Prosecutors in the case were continuing with a line of questioning involving one of Hernandez’s cousins when the call came in.
The court was evacuated and State Police swept the building. When no explosives were found, the trial resumed.
Hernandez is accused in the June 2013 killing of Odin Lloyd, for which he has pleaded not guilty.
