Boston area janitors are breathing a little easier this morning following a settlement in their new contract. Boston Mayor Thomas Menino and Union 254 reached a settlement which will increase workers pay and health care benefits in the next five years. According to a Boston Globe report in Thursday’s paper, the Boston area janitors will see a three dollar increase in their hourly wage within the next five years. More to come as news develops.
