Northeastern Students Against War hosted a panel discussion Tuesday night about the proposition of war in Iraq. The organization invited people who favor war to speak at the event, but none were able to attend. The group plans to attend an anti-war rally in Washington, D.C. this weekend.
“This represents the beginning of what we think will be the largest anti-war demonstration in the country,” said International Socialist Organization (ISO) member Joe Knott.
Todd Tavares, a member of the Progressive Student Alliance, believes that the United States does not have a legitimate cause to invade Iraq.
